It\u2019s futile to blame \u201cmillennials\u201d for lower ratings because it\u2019s futile to a blame a whole generation of people for any singular thing, or hold them accountable in any sort of meaningful way. Millennials don\u2019t need to get down with the Olympics; instead, the Olympics should pander to us millennials.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I didn\u2019t watch the Olympics but I don\u2019t really have an interest in most sports but everyone I know that skipped out on watching couldn\u2019t watch the events they were interested in live, didn\u2019t want to sit through commercials, don\u2019t care about talking-heads commentary or didn\u2019t have a cable-TV subscription.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s NBC\u2019s job to address these issues.
