Heather and I have had a long 6-weeks of caring for and training him but he\u2019s finally finding a routine with us. He\u2019s been to the vet twice for routine things, he eats his heart worm meds no problem, rarely has any indoor accidents and potty-training wasn\u2019t really necessary as long as we remain aware enough that he wants to go outside. He hasn\u2019t been picky with food at all, training is okay as he\u2019s pretty stubborn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">One thing though is that he\u2019s getting big fast. He\u2019s over 20 pounds now and still is a lap-dog (for now). I think he\u2019ll be 4 months old soon and he\u2019s doing weekly visits to daycare to be social with other dogs and he spends a lot of time with strangers. I\u2019m just impressed with how big he\u2019s gotten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Most important, he now sleeps through the night and no more of these 5AM wake-ups to go outside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"View &#039;Porter, The Catahoula&#039;
