I\u2019ve stepped away to other roasters a few times a year but keep returning to Blue Bottle and their core blends.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In October, I started ordering a Single Origin coffee for every other bag I buy from Blue Bottle. Of course, corporately, <a href=\"https:\/\/adamchandler.me\/blog\/\/2014\/04\/10\/culinary-blue-bottles-strange-defensive-email\/\">I have some issues with Blue Bottle\u2019s growth<\/a> and their prices continue to go up but they\u2019ve done a few things right and as<a href=\"https:\/\/adamchandler.me\/blog\/\/2015\/01\/20\/linked-the-multimillion-dollar-quest-to-brew-the-perfect-cup-of-coffee\/\"> stated earlier this year,<\/a> as long as their quality continues to be great, I\u2019ll likely remain a loyal customer.<\/p>\n<p>The single origin beans that change every month have been decent. Some were just plain as in whatever, it\u2019s coffee. I\u2019ll drink it. However, the most recent bag is fantastic and has me wanting more.\u00a0El Salvador Santa Ana El Majahual was released November 17th and it\u2019s one of the first coffees that did not have an overwhelming bark, mulch, fudge or bourbon taste to it. It\u2019s uniquely cinnamon and apple and nuts. It\u2019s very close to flavor description that Blue Bottle states on the included tasting notes.
