The Opti-Coat Pro Plus Ceramic coating on my car has <a href=\"http:\/\/opti-coat.net\/content\/63\/opti-coat_pro_plus_ceramic_clear_coating.html\">hydrophobic properties<\/a> that force water to bead and repel with a little bit of wind. Drying this car over the last few months has been a breeze. Now that Winter is fast approaching, I\u2019m observing the cool effect this is having on the car. The water that fell from the sky beaded up and froze with nearly zero air-bubbles. So you get this awesome look. The ice particles flew off the car as soon as I started driving since the Opti-Coat keeps them from really sticking to the vehicle. It\u2019ll be interesting to see how the treatment changes my ice \/ snow brushing routine once we\u2019re fully into Winter.<\/p>\n<p>For now, it just looks really cool! Next time I catch it, I\u2019ll use the 5D instead of my iPhone.
