Despite my generally wearing short-sleeved shirts, which left the Watch clearly visible, I\u2019ve concluded that most people\u2019s brains simply register something worn on the wrist as a watch, and don\u2019t bother giving it much further attention.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It\u2019s funny but one of my biggest low-points to being an early adopter is the fact that inevitably, a lot of people will ask me about it and sort of look at me like they\u2019re expecting an impromptu demo. This happened with every new iPhone, Mac, gadget, etc.<\/p>\n<p>However, watches are still quite common on the 40+ crowd\u2019s wrists. For younger people, the huge amount of JawBone\/FitBit products makes wrist-wear even more normal. The Apple Watch looks like a regular watch, nice band, black facade, a crown and really the only stand-out look is the square screen versus a traditional circle.<\/p>\n<p>I still expected daily questions about it. I\u2019ve demoed it twice only when in a 1:1 meeting \/ dinner after I received a notification and quickly went to mute the watch so that it wouldn\u2019t have further interruptions.<\/p>\n<p>Out in the real world, a few people have pointed to it and told their friends \u201chey it\u2019s an apple watch\u201d but the people who used to ask me what I thought of a pair of headphones or an iPhone aren\u2019t present. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a lack of buzz around the product. I think the watch fits in so well and most people don\u2019t look at your wrists.
