It\u2019s a lens-cap lens that has zero intelligence at all. It\u2019s small, all plastic body, manual lens open and manual focus. It\u2019s also f\/8 aperture so there is little chance that I\u2019ll be able to shoot in anything lower than dusk cloudy conditions. The manual focus is also a bit wonky. The slider between .2 meters and infinity is a traveling distance of less than 1 inch so granularity toward focus is pretty weak which you\u2019ll notice in the samples posted below.<\/p>\n<p>The huge advantage to this lens? It\u2019s $99 and I can use it as a body-cap when traveling and the quality of the photos (once I get it focused and in broad-daylight) is pretty darn good.
