And I\u2019m hardly alone. At Expo careers were launched, plots hatched, businesses created, minds changed, and friends made. It was an event that we looked forward to for months and whose ideas resonated for years. And it wasn\u2019t just us shmoes. I saw countless Apple employees who were just as excited about the show as I was. It was the center of the Apple universe. It mattered. And it mattered because it was about more than just products and promotion. It was equally about people.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Great piece by one of the biggest supporters of Macworld Expo over the years. I saw Chris Breen everywhere @ Macworld from the Mac User Group conferences, speaker and media room, exhibit hall floor and after parties.<\/p>\n

I have a photo of he and I together in 2004 but I\u2019ll be damned if I couldn\u2019t find it.
