I look back and laugh because, as edgy and cool as Rob Thomas was, I just can&#8217;t imagine writing a single meaningful word to his lyrics. Tonight, I&#8217;m playing Matchbox 20&#8217;s &#8216;Mad Season&#8217; album and, once it ends, I&#8217;ll finish this post. I made Chocolate pudding tonight using soy milk instead of real milk with a few ounces of heavy cream to make up for the lack of milk but i added a teaspoon of brown sugar and 6 oreo cookies. The result was an uber sweet &amp; uber delicious dessert that an overweight man should not be consuming at 10 till midnight. Oh well.<\/p>\n<p>Hey, look at the time. Perhaps that whole goal of listening through the entire album was a bad idea. I&#8217;m exceptionally tired and need rest. I was up at 3:30AM this morning to hop on a plane to North Carolina. It&#8217;s a flight I never caught due to nearly dying on the road after my car decided, &#8220;electronics? who needs those?&#8221; and literally every bit of mechanics in my car decided to die aside from the engine. That kept going but brakes, steering, lights and even my\u00a0gauges\u00a0all decided at once that they were really not necessary for a drive to the airport.<\/p>\n<p>My car died at 4:15 AM. A\u00a0tow\u00a0truck arrived at 5:15AM. I arrived home around 6:30 and got to work at 8 after eating breakfast. This, after going to sleep at 1AM and planning on sleeping during the plane ride. 3 hours of sleep and it&#8217;s midnight and here I am writing onto a blank white screen. Why?<\/p>\n<p>I watched The Darjeeling Limited tonight. It was me, my steak, wild rice and my Francis Ford Coppola Cabernet which happens to be my favorite wine of the last 2 years aside from the fact that a guy in Chicago who collects wine said, &#8220;for $18, this tastes like shit&#8221; and I&#8217;ve doubted my choice ever since. I buy it by the case and still enjoy each and ever bottle. The food isn&#8217;t\u00a0really\u00a0important but i learned that the film I watched had an executive producer by the name of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0178910\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Roman Coppola<\/a> who is son to Francis Ford Coppola. The credits ran, I sipped a last drop of the wine and saw his name. Ah yes, I&#8217;m drinking y0ur father&#8217;s wine. Please pass on the word that I&#8217;m really enjoying his Cabernet and Claret &#8217;06 &amp; &#8217;07 varieties.<\/p>\n<p>How is it that I always do this?<\/p>\n<p>Each time I blog, I haven&#8217;t even started with my &#8220;point&#8221; yet I glance down and see a word count in excess of 400. It&#8217;s sad. Frankly, I really could throw everything out up until this point but it truly does add context at least in my mind. Then again, all creatives are slightly insane so I&#8217;m probably just being selfish. Um, if you read the whole part until NOW, I apologize. FYI, don&#8217;t do that next time.<\/p>\n<p>Well, ya know, I&#8217;d love to keep sharing but I think it&#8217;s time for bed. I have to be up in 7 hours and need a fresh brain for haggling auto-dealers. Wishing I could share what I wanted to but that&#8217;s just not gonna happen tonight.
