Great post<\/a> for the single men out there…<\/p>\n

Few dates are better than having dinner at home. Without the distractions of a restaurant, all of the focus can be on you and your date.\u00a0 You\u2019ll find that the conversation will be more comfortable and honest. And of course, women love men who can cook.\u00a0 But when you\u2019re cooking for someone else, it\u2019s like you\u2019re putting on a little show, and the pressure can be a bit nerve-racking. So just follow these \u201ccommandments\u201d and recipe suggestions\u00a0 and you\u2019ll be sure to have a romantic and successful at-home dinner date.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I’d say 80% of my dates in the past 2 years have been at my house or her’s. This isn’t because I’m cheap or lazy but because I enjoy meeting up at 6PM, cooking for hours while music plays and sipping wine. The experience is far better than that of a restaurant. On another note, “Art of Manliness” is a terrific blog that continues to impress me.<\/p>\n

I especially enjoyed this tidbit:<\/p>\n

No matter how excited you are to impress her, it\u2019s kind of creepy to invite her to your house on the first date. She doesn\u2019t yet know whether you\u2019re a serial killer who\u2019s literally planning on having\u00a0her<\/em> for dinner.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
