I&#8217;d like to share my &#8220;list&#8221; mostly because he&#8217;s kind of reminded \u00a0me to compose this list for my own sanity while sharing it with the world. Residents of Bombay or New Delhi, please don&#8217;t target me for theft cause I will be packing&#8230;.some crazy expensive technology *wink face*<\/p>\n<p>Alright, here&#8217;s my list of things that are required for this trip to a totally opposite part of the world. Each and every one of my essential &#8220;technology pieces&#8221; will be stuffed into the awesome \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kata-bags.com\/product.asp?Version=photo&amp;p_Id=508\">Kata DR-467i<\/a> bag which I&#8217;m absolutely in love with. I spent an hour tonight loading it up with four cameras, 7 lenses, two computers and multiple extra pieces like headphones, power adapters and memory cards and it really is an amazing piece of technology for a\u00a0backpack.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Camera Gear:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Canon AE-1 with 50mm F\/1.8 lens, two filters, one extra 6 volt battery and 8 rolls of Fujifilm 400mm ISO film at 36 exposures.<\/li>\n<li>Olympus PEN E-PL2 with 14-42mm lens, 17mm lens and 45-200mm lens and one spare battery<\/li>\n<li>Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 with spare battery<\/li>\n<li>Canon 5D (previous version) with 50mm lens, 70-200 lens, 14-45 lens and 12-24mm fisheye lens with three total batteries<\/li>\n<li>Four 8 gigabyte SD cards<\/li>\n<li>Two 16 gigabyte CF cards<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Manfrotto-190CXPRO4-4-Section-Carbon-without\/dp\/B0015MHY6K\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1297917651&amp;sr=8-1\">My Manfroto CX190Pro4 Tripod<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Computer Gear:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MacBook Air 1.4Ghz w\/ 4 gigabytes of ram and 64GB SSD<\/li>\n<li>Photoshop CS5 &amp; Aperture 3 &amp; iPhoto &#8217;11<\/li>\n<li>256 Gigabyte LaCie Rugged Drive (USB Bus Powered) for photo backups and data continuity<\/li>\n<li>iPhone 4 with International Data Roaming enabled and Tethering<\/li>\n<li>iPad 32GB Wi-Fi<\/li>\n<li>Apple World Traveler Adapter Kit<\/li>\n<li>India Power Adapter for Camera Charging and other misc. needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other\u00a0Miscellaneous\u00a0Technology Gear:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shure SE530 Earphones<\/li>\n<li>Shure SRH 840 Headphones<\/li>\n<li>Two USB iPhone Cables<\/li>\n<li>One 19-in-1 card reader for SD&amp;CF Card reading quickly<\/li>\n<li>Extra MacBook Air Adapter (in case the 1st gets blown from power surge)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aside from the extras, there isn&#8217;t much more that I&#8217;ll be bringing with me. This is my &#8220;bare essentials&#8221; and I think I could trim a few places on the camera gear but I have a few friends going as well with me to India so having all of the camera gear there is good as we can all borrow each other&#8217;s gear and I can try out new techniques.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, this is a full 12 days off work so I&#8217;ll have plenty of time to take photographs and I&#8217;m looking forward to getting out there and really taking some phenomenal photos.<\/p>\n<p>So, that&#8217;s my list.
