This blog isn’t dead. I might be on life support though. Life is exceptionally busy so much that I am telling people no who are calling in favors for commitments I made in the past. I’ll be back soon, probably more so over the Winter as the quiet dark takes over (not me, just talking about how dark and cold it’s going to be outside very soon). I’m tired but in exceptional health and mental clarity. I do feel great but working 7 days a week for 8 weeks straight has been really challenging but this new mortgage isn’t going to pay itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the course of 4 months with 2 down and 2 to go, I’ve been working full time, getting a child to her 2nd birthday and beyond, teaching classes on the weekends, finalizing a construction loan and nearly tearing down my home to rebuild it, preparing for Winter by doing maintenance on my 3 cars, 4 bikes and snowblower getting all of that ready and occasionally going for a walk in the woods but far less than I’d prefer. This pace is not sustainable and I know it. Sitting in a computer desk from 6AM to 6PM 7 days a week and not doing any extracurricular hobbies and spending 4 hours a day with the baby before and after work. A reprieve is coming soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think my dog is depressed though. He never goes anywhere anymore. He just stares at me and I need to be better about getting him out in the woods with me. New Hampshire is 4 weeks away from being out of a drought and I’m about 6 weeks away from things quieting down more. We’ll be living elsewhere, things will be in storage, our house will be underway on a rebuild and I’ll have a little more time on the weekends as classes ramp down. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
