Still upset that I can’t purchase iOS apps on Mac OS

In my RSS Reader, there’s a link to an iOS app. I click the link and the page says, “This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.”

Sigh. I have to go get my iPhone, unlock it, type out on a keyboard I still don’t like the name of the app, see an ad in the App Store as the 1st result just to buy it and then have to put my finger down again, wait for it to load on page 2 of SpringBoard and finally open it.

The old method was iTunes would become the main window, I’d click “Get” and it’d go to my iPhone while I replied to a few more emails. I miss those days. iTunes needed to lose weight but Apple’s integration should allow a Mac with the same AppleID as my iPhone purchase something that’s free through Safari. It’s not too challenging.
