Linked: “A Conversation with Maggie Haberman”

via The New Yorker:

A couple of days before the Trump interview, I spoke with Haberman for The New Yorker Radio Hour, which is broadcast nationally on public radio stations and available now on newyorker.com. What follows is a transcript of our conversation, edited for length and clarity.

I admittedly don’t keep track of the names of the journalists who write things I consume. I’m just not in the industry to worry about that but this inside-baseball discussion of not individual singular events of the Trump Presidency but overall a discussion on the last 6 months was very interesting. Two journalists talking about the state of affairs as a whole. I miss journalism that doesn’t focus on breaking news but events and their effects over a long period of time. Breaking News is usually short on details and has too many guesses and uncertainties for me to follow it which is why this blog is always so behind on covering things happening in our world.
