After 4 years and 96K miles, Heather traded in her 2012 Kia Soul base model for a loaded to the max 2016 Golf Sportwagen SEL with the 1.8TSI EA888 engine (the same engine design as what’s in my Golf R although with a smaller displacement and turbocharger). It’s a fun car, great torque, power, amenities and it has the fancy headlights (Bi-Xenon) and Driver Assistance safety features (DAP). She’s stoked and we got it for 10K off since it was used as a VW corporate vehicle for only a couple of months and 5K miles. For our ‘troubles’ the deal CPOed it with a 60K 6 year warranty!
Heather really enjoys driving my car and this is identical to it once you’re in the cabin. There are a lot of exterior differences but she got this on practicality, not performance.
