Linked: “Meet the Composer Who Wrote the Music for Shanghai Disneyland’s Tomorrowland”

via The Hollywood Reporter:

Spanning two years, BT wrote more than four hours of music that flows out of more than 200 speakers spread throughout Tomorrowland. Though used to writing for his albums and for movies — among the films he’s scored are The Fast and the Furious, Stealth and Monster — writing immersive music for the theme park was a totally different animal: “It’s a living space and it’s a space that changes as you walk through it.

I’m so damn proud of Brian. Another thing about this opportunity is that he’s now in the Disney world more than ever. He has done things for Disney and Pixar (aka Disney Animation) before but this is next-level. BT could step out of the lime-light forever, work entirely for Disney and live a great life.

I’m really proud of all he has accomplished. I hope some of these tracks are available outside of Disney’s Park.
