Linked: “Safari in OS X El Capitan Changes Common Shortcuts”

via LaptopMag:

While many were upset to see the feature go, the good news is that bookmark-based key commands haven’t gone away, they’ve only been re-mapped. The first bookmark in Safari’s bookmark bar can now be triggered by Command+Option+1, and so on and so forth. Get ready to re-train your muscle memories.

That’s the first change I noticed when I upgraded to El Capitan a few months ago. It’s taken while to get used to. If you try the old Command+1,2,3,4 it takes you to different tabs which I find far less useful than just the old way of Command+Shift+Right Arrow. Cycling through tabs that way with Command+Number being your Bookmarks Bar favorites is nicer but oh well. Time marches on.
