Acquired this in a trade after Dark Lord Day this year. Enjoyed in a snifter at 60 degrees F.A – I actually started pouring this one vigorously. that was a mistake. Had to do an insanely slow side pour and still the head was about 6 fingers and rising. Sort of a creamy light cocoa head. Black as night beer. The head faded albeit very slowly.S – Very roasty and sweet on the nose. Hints of chocolate.
T – Hint of coffee and nutella. Some darker fruits like figs and hazelnuts as well. Finish is creamy and more espresso beans.
M – High carbonation, medium body.
O – This is pretty dang drinkable. I’m not a fan of milk stouts but I really like this one.
