2007 Vintage. Shared by Wally. enjoyed in a flute glass with friends.

A – Excellent cloudy light brown. Nice and orange. Great bottom to top bubbles. No head at all.

S – Loving the apple. Apple pie. Nice Acetic scent. Pine and Grapefruit.

T – Musty up front. Super high tannin taste from like dry grape skins. Baked pears incredible acetic sourness. The finish the oak grassiness. Incredible

M – 80% carbonation on the mouth swish. Incredibly light body. My taste buds are freaking out about the tart and sour. Like the mouthfeel of a lemon head on my tongue.

O – This is better than I expected. Great and worth seeking out.

UPDATE: I decided to open my 2008 Vintage (bottled 2011) afterward to compare. Appearance is similar but slightly darker. scent is more oaky with less of the fruits I had in the last. yeah, Taste is still more oaky. More subtle acetic taste. Less sour taste. Less tart. Overall, it’s more subdued. I’m for sure going to keep these for a year because I prefer it with another year on it. Really nice still though. Luckily, I have 4 more of these I think.
