All of the iPad chatter this week was less about the specs of this new tablet. Everyone seemed convinced that Apple’s choice to simply call it, “The new iPad” was both strange and wonderful. Haters and fans came out to express their opinion. Apple doesn’t call it new “The new iPad” because everywhere I look in the places that matter, it’s being referred to as “iPad 3rd Generation”
I’ll post an update once the official Apple Support documents are published for iPad 3 but it’s not “Thew new iPad” and no one at an Apple Store will correct you if you call it that.
